Caring for the park
Management and ongoing development of the Seven Lochs Wetland Park is coordinated by a small staff team based at the Golf-It hub next to Hogganfield Loch. The team works with Glasgow City and North Lanarkshire Councils, education providers, and local people to develop and deliver projects to improve the park for people and wildlife. We couldn’t do what we do without the support of dedicated volunteers and community groups who help look after the park, and improve it now and for future generations.
Other partner organisations directly involved in caring for heritage, nature and visitor facilities at Seven Lochs are;
- Provan Hall Community Management Trust look after the grade 1 listed buildings at Provan Hall as a hub for heritage learning and engagement.
- Glenboig Development Trust run Glenboig Life Centre as a focus for a range of community activities and a visitor centre for Seven Lochs.
- Royal and Ancient Golf and Leisure lead the operation of Golf-It – a unique new visitor attraction that combines sport, events and education for all.
