Hogganfield Park: A Community History ‘Zine is a celebration of the public park and the people who have enjoyed and cared for it since its creation over 100 years ago. Co- created with the community, and with design work by artist Janie Nicoll, it brings together archival research, local memories and community artworks and collage to explore the parks history and stories. So, dive in and enjoy tales of the park’s opening day and changing recreation, of eating ice- cream in elegant tearooms, sliding down big hills on small boards, evading park-keepers, boating with the wind in your hair and grand days out with your mum’s sandwiches and a bottle of diluting juice!
