Join us at training events led by Buglife to learn more about the habitats, lifecycles of many of our Seven Lochs insect inhabitants and discover how to carry out your own survey in Seven Lochs Wetland Park.
In June we learned how learned how to tell a buff-tailed bumble from a common carder and how to identify many more species. We also discovered why they are declining, what we can do to save them and how to carry out our own bumblebee survey in Seven Lochs.
In July and August, we are focusing our attention on hoverflies, leaf beetles, lacewings and the ever-fascinating dragonfly so do pop along! The training events are free but booking is essential.
