Bee Friendly Weekend!

Small but mighty, bees are natures champions helping to pollinate the plants that produce our fruit and vegetables. These pollinating insects are in decline due to climate change and human activity, but you can help turn things around! Come along, get inspired, and help us give nature a helping hand!
Part of Glasgow Climate Week
Saturday 16th of May, 11am – 3pm
Join our Seasonal Countryside Rangers for a fun, hands-on family event where you’ll discover how to be truly bee-friendly.
+ Family friendly guided nature walks spotting and identifying pollinators. Leaving from Seven Lochs Visitor Centre at 12pm, 1pm and 2pm, no booking necessary, just drop by!
+ Wildflower planting.
+ Crafts for all ages.
Sunday 17th of May
Bee Identification Workshop
+ Join our rangers to build skills in finding, identifying, and recording bumblebees. This is a great opportunity for people improve their identification skills and learn more about how to carry out their own bumblebee surveys. Children are welcome to attend if accompanied by an adult but please keep in mind that this is a fairly comprehensive workshop will run for about 3 hours.
