From Flower to Food: The Secret Life of Insects

Join us to explore amazing insects! From helping plants grow, keeping soil healthy, and feeding other wildlife they keep nature thriving and have inspired art, poetry, folklore and even fashion for centuries! Pop along and discover their wonderful world.
Drop- In Activities:
+ Build a bug hotel from natural and recycled materials
+ Craft a mask of your favourite insect
+ Build a bug broach or hair clasp
+ Insect Trails & Folklore Tales Scavenger Hunt– win a prize!
Playing all Day:
+ Amazing insect animations created by Ruchazie Youth Group and Glasgow Kelvin College
Scheduled Activities:
+ 1.30 – 3.30pm Sow and grow family friendly guided session. This activity is part of the Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2026 Festival
