Project wins national award!

We are delighted to announce that our partnership project, Spirit of Hogganfield Loch has won The Association for Heritage Interpretation’s Community Engagement Award and Excellence in Interpretation Award!
Developed by Seven Lochs and Ruchazie Community Council, the project supported young people to connect with their local greenspace and explore the natural histories of some of the local wildlife. Working with artists and filmmakers, they have shared their discoveries through animation and film to create fun and engaging interpretation. You can find out more about the project and watch the film and animations by visiting The Spirt of the Loch Project Page
Well done to all involved – partners, supporting organisations, artists and, most importantly, the participants whose curiosity, creativity, energy and sense of humour made this such an amazing project to work on.
Ruchazie Community Council Board said ‘It’s fantastic that Spirit of the Loch has been recognised as showing excellence in community engagement. It’s a real testament to the creativity, collaboration, and community spirit that went into the project. We’re delighted that young people from the area have created something that’s brought so much pride to Ruchazie’.
